Beginning in 1974 in Korea, some 3,500 Daewoo trademarks have been applied for and/or registered in over 160 countries around the world. They are used both domestically and internationally by the company and its overseas branches in many business areas including industrial electronics, automotive components, machinery, construction and transportation. Their outstanding value has been widely recognized throughout Asia, Central and South America, the Middle East, and the CIS countries. We also maintain and manage trademark rights through the application and registration of trademarks, while protecting our rights by operating a monitoring system that is connected to trademark experts across the world.

Pursuant to the Guidelines on the Use of Daewoo Trademarks, the use of Daewoo trademarks is expanded to a broad range of business areas including international trade, project management, resource development and trademark business. We do our best to enhance the value of our trademarks and to maintain and manage them through our internal regulations for brand management and the Brand Management Committee.
